Continuing with New Media Flash projects, I developed this piece as an exercise in navigational structure. My idea was to create a visual first aid guide that was easily accesible from any computer that was sybolically based and universally readable.

A few years back, I took a New Media production class at Carleton. Our final projects were animated in flash and I’m going to post some of my favorites over the next few days. The first project is called “Narrative” by Max Wirsing. Type a message into the text box and watch the translation.

So, it’s clearly too late to start a comps blog, although I wish I had. It would have been a great motivator. I’m turning in the full draft on Monday and my Saturday night has quickly bled into Sunday morning. After one of many coffee breaks this evening, I came back into my room and noticed a sort of aesthetic that I can only describe as the “compsthetic”. The camera came out and now you can all know what my world has looked like for the past week.
