    Thanks for the interview Scott!

Just one small correction: its “Geekcorps” not “Geekcorp”. The “s” is silent. The French “corps” is a odd word that took me many months in my initial Peace Corps experience to fully pronounce & spell right.

Fixed it. Thanks for all the help Wayan.

Great show Scott, well presented, insightful.

Just to add to your show, some of the issues that you discussed are classic development issues:
    1. relief versus development
    2. impact and scale

…things that when doing this work you eventually must address. That debate continues, though as Wayan alludes information is an enabler, it allows people to figure out a lot of the problems themselves. Our work can only be limited, though it is much more about planting seeds: over time a few seeds can become a field. The greatest success that Geekcorps as had is in the development of individuals, both those who volunteer and the beneficiaries.
